The Benefits of an International Conference

  At last year’s conference, we had over 270 attendees from eight countries make their way to Las Vegas. One of our goals for this year is to increase the number of international participants and improve on those figures.

  Increasing these numbers are important to us for a number of reasons. By having a more global makeup, we can better attain our broader goal of disseminating best practices and creating a more informed and prepared industry. Additionally, with the increase of international travel and the rise of transnational criminal/terrorist organizations, it is likely that the threats affecting our clients here in the United States have roots or connections in other countries throughout the world. Learning from one another will greatly benefit security practitioners from both the United States and abroad.    

  While it is important to reach out to our international counterparts in the security industry to improve our own methods, we also implore members of the international community to come to Las Vegas. This year’s Close Protection Conference will be an invaluable learning experience for all those that attend.
