Looking ahead to the 2017 Close Protection Conference
June 1, 2017

The world of security and protection is always moving at a quick pace. We are only a little more than a third of the way through the year and yet we have already seen numerous high-profile events and developments that affect our field.

What makes our industry so interesting is that the lessons we learn and practice one day can become obsolete in the blink of an eye. This means that we need to continuously learn new skills and adopt new tactics. And the recent events concerning the ever-changing nature of terrorism, the emergence of new cyber vulnerabilities and threats to high-networth-individuals have forced us to once again come up with new ways to keep our clients safe.

With that in mind, we are already looking forward to our annual conference. This year’s conference will provide a unique opportunity for security practitioners to come together and share their advice while learning from others in their field.

Due to the diversity of our attendees, we are offering wide ranging panels and presentations that cover all the major topics and recent developments taking place in the world of security. We have industry experts and insiders lined up to discuss everything from corporate to event security. Regardless of your specific field or your length of time in the industry, our goal is to have this conference give you an extra edge or a new skill for when you return to the job.

One more exciting detail that we are pleased to announce is that Garda will be sending a recruitment team to this year’s conference. Having a strong recruitment presence will add extra value for participants that are new to the industry or for those thinking of entering it.

We hope that you will join us this December in Las Vegas when we host our 2nd annual Close Protection Conference. There will be lots of networking opportunities, some great insights into how our industry is changing and we will have a very special Key Note Speaker who will be announced soon…
