Sam Talbott - Moderator


Sam Talbott leads the Intelligence function within Corporate Security at Target Corporation, which encompasses global intelligence, protective intelligence, and management of the travel security program. Additionally, he is part of a team of five responsible for leading Target’s corporate command center through enterprise crisis response. Sam has broad experience in intelligence and security in the private sector in multiple industries, including medical devices, investor-owned utilities, and retail. Prior to joining the private sector, he spent four years with the Defense Intelligence Agency at US Central Command and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He holds a BA in History from the University of Iowa and an MS in Intelligence and Analysis from Michigan State University.

Ryan Long - Panel & Intelligence Brief


Ryan Long is the Head of Global Intelligence at McDonald’s where he helped launch the company’s original program. His team empowers business leaders to make informed decisions and deliver better business outcomes by providing timely, tailored, & trusted intelligence and support around the organization's people, operations, strategy, and brand. The intelligence function also includes Executive Protection, which focuses on delivering innovative and intelligence-led solutions to support executive risk management.

Ryan began his professional career in 2003 as a U.S. Army Intelligence Officer. He’s held a variety of analyst, advisory, and management positions of increasing responsibility in both a reserve and active capacity and deployed multiple times to both Iraq and Afghanistan where he served with distinction while receiving numerous decorations. He currently serves in the Army Reserves where he leads an intelligence organization focused on analytic, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism support to the United States European Command.

Ryan recently finished a two-year term as the President of the Association of International Risk Intelligence Professionals (AIRIP), an industry association dedicated to professionalizing intelligence analysis, and is a founding board member of the Veterans Leadership Council, the foremost business network for the current generation of Veteran leaders. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree with Honors in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a law degree from The John Marshall Law School.

Travis Lishok


Travis Lishok has 10 years’ experience in private and public sector security. He is currently the Sr. Manager of Security Intelligence at Ontic Technologies, an organization dedicated to helping security programs collect and leverage protective intelligence data to protect assets from physical threats. Prior to joining Ontic, Travis worked in corporate executive protection & investigations, and served as a Military Police Reservist in the USMC. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton. In his free time he works with asset protection industry leaders to produce thought leadership and informative works via the website, EP Nexus.

Sean Schuhriemen


Sean Schuhriemen has 24 years of professional experience from the U.S. Navy, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the private sector. Sean’s experience is in operational intelligence, executive protection, and project management. As the Deputy Director of Intelligence Operations at AS Solution, Sean assists with the development, implementation, training, and quality of intelligence and operations center programs. Sean graduated with honors from the University of La Verne with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is finishing up a Master’s degree in Intelligence.

Michael Husnik


Michael Husnik is the Head of Protective Intelligence at Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Michael was the CEO of a Security related Start-up, principal of a Risk Mitigation Consulting firm, Professor at George Brown College (Toronto, Canada) and Director of Operations at AFIMAC Global. Michael is also a public speaker who specializes in the topics of Protective Intelligence, Workplace Violence and Harassment, Risk Management and safe social media practices.
