November 9, 2019The IPSB is proud to announce that John Shuman will be the Keynote Speaker at the 2019 Close Protection Conference. We always aim to have a speaker of great influence fill this role and we are looking forward to hearing John speak this December in Las Vegas.
John Shuman is Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer for U.S. Bank. John leads the Corporate Security Team that is tasked with the safety and wellness of U.S. Bank employees and customers, as well as the security and protection of the company’s facilities and assets, both domestic and international. His team consists of Physical Security, Security Control, Executive Protection, Global Security, Threat Assessment and Management and Security Technology Services.
John has over 20 years of physical security experience, including 14 years as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, and as a Director of Corporate Security with the Target Corporation. John is active in industry groups, roundtables, and serves as a Board Director for the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Foundation, as well as the Minnesota Crime Stoppers Foundation.
John has also earned an undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
